Aidan Hyman

Aidan Hyman (he/him) is a third-year at University of California, Davis, where he studies Agriculture Studies and Human Rights. The 20-year-old queer extreme athlete and activist planted the Pride flag at K2's base camp in Pakistan, defying severe penalties for homosexuality. A marathoner and triathlete, he crosses deserts and glaciers, embodying resilience. As Outreach Director at Aggie House, a non-profit, Aidan transforms compassion into action. A Human Rights Campaign athlete for equality, he has fundraised $25,000 for Human Rights Campaign, Boston Children's, and the American Cancer Society.
