LGBT+ VC is the first 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the LGBTQ and ally venture capital community, from Stonewall to Silicon Valley. Its mission is to help all LGBTQ people prosper through the economic opportunities unlocked through venture capital.
Our immediate work is to promote more equitable LGBTQ representation, particularly in leadership and investment positions. To-date, we have successfully educated, trained, and convened 2,000 new and active LGBTQ investors.
Our broader vision is to drive societal progress towards economic parity and foster intergenerational wealth. We aim to be an economic engine, helping the LGBTQ community overcome hardship and achieve success in all its forms.

The College Fellowship
The LGBT+ VC Fellowship is a three-month program for college students interested in learning more about the venture capital industry. Students have the opportunity to network with investors and entrepreneurs, learn the fundamentals of venture capital, and conduct research on the innovation economy. Their projects support queer venture capital™, members of the LGBTQ venture capital ecosystem, and the broader private market and investment landscape.
Teen Youth Innovators
Our youth program is designed to provide queer and trans youth with an introduction to business, venture capital, and entrepreneurial skills. Participants learn about the fundamentals of venture capital, explore innovative ideas in finance, and develop their entrepreneurial mindset. Participants learn how to become queer venture capitalists of tomorrow. Through interactive discussions, guest speakers, and capstone projects, students gain the knowledge and confidence to pursue proven pathways to prosperity. The program is offered in partnership with NYC's Mayor's Office to support first-generation and LGBTQ youth throughout the city.
